Our Barcelona Christmas Tour shows you everything that Christmas and the holiday season mean to the citizens of Barcelona. Of course you´ll also see Barcelona´s regular highlights on this 5-hour driving tour. All the Gaudí buildings, the Parc Guell, the city´s brilliant architecture and art will be shown and explained about. This tour just offers a little extra when it comes to the city´s Christmas decoration, and, if you want, that of your home´s tree. For instance, we´ll go by Barcelona´s most beautiful Christmas markets and teach you everything on how the holidays are celebrated in Catalonia and Spain. Did you know, for example, that Santa Claus is of minor importance in Spain? Instead, people receive their gifts from the Three Kings - Caspar, Melchior, and Balthazar - on January 6th. But that´s only the general way of Spain. The Catalans, on the other hand, have their own tradition. The "Caga Tío" is their mascot "bringer of the gifts". Caga Tío is basicly a disguised log, that makes the gifts appear in its own special way. Booking Policy After filling out the reservation form on the next page, you´ll receive an e-mail confirming your request. After checking availability you´ll have to confirm your reservation by either sending per e-mail a document confirming your stay and/or arrival, or by paying a deposit of 30% of the total booking price through PayPal. After this, you will receive your final Booking Confirmation.
Cancellation Policy To receive a full refund, reservations must be canceled at least 14 days before the tour date. For more info, see our Terms and Conditions.
Availability and tour type The prices per person per tour are prices per seat of a total of 8 seats. If your group, including you, is smaller than or equal to 6 persons, Private Tours Barcelona reserves the right to occupy the remaining seats with other clients. To avoid this, select "private" on the reservation form. Note: this will affect the total booking price.
